Unique Surgical Procedures

Tubal Reversal

After a tubal ligation, some women decide that they would like to try to conceive naturally. While assisted reproductive methods, like in vitro fertilization, are possible for some, for many women, this is not an affordable option.  Through this procedure, I re-connect the previously separated ends of the fallopian tubes, allowing for the possibility of natural conception after a tubal ligation.

Wide Location Endometriosis Exicison

Endometriosis can be surgically treated in a few ways, including ablation, lesion specific excision and wide location excision. I perform wide local excision , which means that I remove the abnormal endometriosis tissue with a wide margin of normal tissue around it to ensure that only healthy tissue is left behind.

Isthmoele Repair

An isthmocele is a scar that forms at the site of a cesarean section incision. This scar and lead to abnormal bleeding, infertility and pregnancy complications.  Using minimally-invasive techniques, I can remove and repair the scarred area.
