Fibroids
What are Fibroids?
Fibroids are benign (non-cancerous) growths found most commonly in the uterus, also known as the womb. It is the most common non-cancerous growth in the female body and 7 to 8 out f 10 women have them. They can cause heavy bleeding, pain, and fertility issues, among other symptoms.
What should I do about my fibroids?
No two women with fibroids are the same. There are many ways to manage fibroids ranging from watchful waiting to surgical removal. I will discuss your specific fibroids with you and provide you with medical and surgical management options and recommendations. The decision about what to do about your fibroids is ultimately yours.
